I hate people who are not serious about meals. It is so shallow of them.
You can’t just eat good food. You’ve got to talk about it too. And you’ve got to talk about it to somebody who understands that kind of food.
Food is one of the great preoccupations of my life. I cook from scratch on average 20 out of 21 weekly meals, essentially all of my working life has been spent in professional kitchens, and my hobbies tend to cluster around food topics (brewing, gardening, foraging, etc…). Not surprisingly, I have some thoughts on the topic of food. This is where those essays live. Writing on other topics lives in the Essays section.
